Paid checkout runs through Function Hour’s Stripe account, so organizer payout setup does not block ticket sales. Function Hour tracks eligible organizer proceeds in its ledger. After the organizer requests a transfer, Operations reviews refunds and disputes before funds move to the connected Stripe account. Organizers are responsible for their own taxes.
Your Payouts page shows the amount available to request and whether a request is awaiting review. Review and transfer timing can vary with Stripe fund availability, refunds, and disputes; no fixed payout date is promised. For a request that needs attention, email operations@functionhour.com.

Is there a monthly subscription?
No. There is no monthly Function Hour organizer subscription to create or publish an event.
What is Function Hour’s ticket fee?
Function Hour charges 3.7% + $1.78 per paid ticket. This buyer-paid fee is itemized in checkout; free admission has no ticket service fee, including when paid add-ons are purchased separately.
What about card processing?
Function Hour creates the payment through Stripe. The buyer sees the full charge, including the Function Hour service fee, before paying. We do not add a separate card-processing charge at checkout. Any applicable tax is shown before payment; tax reporting obligations depend on the parties and location.
How do organizer payouts work?
Buyers can purchase tickets while charges settle in Function Hour’s Stripe account. After connecting and verifying a Stripe payout account, organizers can request eligible ticket proceeds from the Payouts page. A request shows as awaiting review while Function Hour Operations checks available funds, refunds, and disputes. We do not currently promise a fixed review or transfer date. Once approved, funds transfer to the organizer’s connected Stripe account; Stripe determines the bank payout date. Contact operations@functionhour.com about a pending request. Organizers must report their income as applicable; Function Hour may also have separate tax and payment reporting obligations.
